SEEKING PARTICIPANTS FOR A RESEARCH STUDY

NON-INVASIVE HEMODYNAMIC EVALUATION IN CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASE

Using Carotid Duplex

✅ WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

We are looking for adult volunteers (18 years and older):

• Healthy controls with a history of normal angiography

• Individuals with a confirmed diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease, including:

Using Carotid Duplex

✅ WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

We are looking for adult volunteers (18 years and older):

• Healthy controls with a history of normal angiography

• Individuals with a confirmed diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease, including:

Brain Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs) – Tangled blood vessels that may cause bleeding
Intracranial Aneurysms – Weakened blood vessel walls that may bulge or rupture
Intracranial Arterial Stenosis – Narrowing of brain arteries that may reduce blood flow and increase stroke risk

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Visit 1: (Approximately 1 hour)

Complete a data collection form (demographics, medical history, and clinical details)
Provide documentation confirming your cerebrovascular status (if available)

Visit 2: (Approximately 2 hours)

Undergo a non-invasive Extracranial Doppler Ultrasonography test to assess blood flow.

• Contribute to advancing cerebrovascular disease diagnosis

• Help improve early detection and treatment options

• No invasive procedures involved!
